Scott Harp is a native of Haleyville, Alabama. He is married to the former Jenny Hubbard of New Zealand. Together they have three children, their mates, and seven grandchildren, all faithfully serving in the congregations where they live. Scott attended Freed-Hardeman University and graduated from Heritage Christian University in 1989. Since 1982, he and Jenny have devoted their lives to ministry. They spent eight years in mission work in New Zealand and have served congregations in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky. For the past ten years, Scott has worked with the Crittenden Drive church of Christ in Russellville, Kentucky.
While local congregational work remains his greatest passion, Scott also dedicates significant time to researching and preserving the history of churches of Christ. He has authored several published works, lectured on numerous brotherhood programs, conducted restoration tours, and has hosted the website TheRestorationMovement.com for the past 26 years.
